Change in the Uniform Expectations
We are pleased to announce that we have changed our Uniform provider and amended our Uniform Policy.
Dear Parents / Carers,
We are pleased to let you know that as of 1st July we have changed our uniform provider to Uniform Direct which is conveniently located on Humberstone Gate in the City Centre. This change brings a more reasonable price for items with the academy logo on.
We have also slightly amended our Uniform Policy as set out below:
- It is no longer a requirement for Jumpers and Cardigans to have the Queensmead logo on, but they do still need to be purple.
- Polo shirts for F1 up to year 3 no longer require the Queensmead logo on, but they do still need to be white.
PE Kit changes:
- Plain black t-shirt with or without the Queensmead logo.
- Plain black shorts with no logo’s on (cycling shorts are not permitted)
If your child has the previous purple Queensmead PE t-shirt – this can still be worn until they require a new one.
All other requirements of the Uniform Policy remain unchanged and uniform is compulsory and not an option.
We hope that this brings you more freedom to be able to purchase cheaper items from your local supermarket or online shops.
