On Friday 2nd April, Queensmead Primary Academy took part in a sponsored colour dash in support of LCH Charity - Lifting Children's Hopes.

The children ran a set course at school whilst being showered with different coloured powders at different intervals. We were provided with a set of super soakers, which was the theme for this year's colour dash and made the whole event very exciting!

We thank you for supporting this event, and coming down to see us take part in raising awareness for this fantastic charity. Our children were bright and colourful by the end of the day, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

LCH Help disadvantaged youngsters across Leicestershire, Rutland and some extended parts of the East Midlands in a variety of ways, including holidays and short breaks, funding towards school trips, access to mental health support, providing essential clothing, toiletries, school uniform and equipment.
