Young Marketeers at Leicester Market

Our Young Marketeers have been selling their school-grown produce at Leicester Market in association with the School Food Matters charity.
The project involved pupils sowing seeds and taking care of them so they could grow into plants and produce crops.
These crops and plants were then harvested and taken to the Leicester Market where pupils ran a market stall to sell them. The pupils were trained in how to run a market stall and had the opportunity to create bunting and posters to decorate the stall.
Any money raised will be donated to our local foodbank the Braunstone Food Share.
