World Book Day 2026

On Friday 6th March we are celebrating World Book Day!

Here is a taster of some of the activities that will be taking place throughout the day:

- Dress up your child as their favourite book character.

- Parent and children story-telling session for Yr 1 & 2. (sign up required)

- QPA Bear Hunt

How to enter:

Once you have collected your child at the normal time, please head round to the front office to collect your entry form. We are asking for a donation of £1 per family to take part.

Please see more details on the leaflet sent home with your child.

- Story-telling workshops.

- A book in a day lessons in class.

- Design a potato as your favourite book character competition.

How to enter:

For World Book Day this year, we would like you to decorate a potato as your favourite book character. Please bring in your entries on Friday 6th March. The winners will be announced during assembly on Tuesday 10th March.

Remember – your potato will need to have a stand with your name clearly written on it.
