Colour Dash 2026

On Friday 1st May 2026 we have Queensmead's Colour Dash for all pupils. We have recently sent home a sponsorship form to sponsor your child in this event for LCH Charity. Please do keep encouraging your child to get their sponsors – we are aiming to beat last year's total!

Children will run around a course whilst being showered with coloured powder made from corn starch, dyed with food-grade colouring and not harmful to the people or environment.

A set of "super soakers" and "bubble guns" will add even more fun to the event!

Children must come to school in "Non Uniform" which we ask is old clothes/trainers, as they will be covered in powder and "may" get wet.

We want you to come and see the fun, and if you have children in different year groups, you are welcome to stay in the "Parent Area". You will not be able to leave this area until your last child has raced, when you can collect all your children together. Please look at the times below to find out when your child/ren will be racing:

Year 6 - 1.45pm

Year 5 - 2.00pm

Year 4 - 2.15pm

Year 3 and 2 - 2.30pm

Year 1 and EYFS - 2.45pm
