Welcome to Year 3

In Year 3, our pupils embark on an exciting journey of discovery through a vibrant and engaging curriculum! They explore the fascinating world of forces, uncovering the science behind how things move, before diving into the mysteries of Ancient Egypt, bringing history to life with a thrilling trip to the Ancient Egyptians' workshop at Leicester Museum. The adventure continues as they venture into the lush, biodiverse rainforests and the rich cultures and landscapes of Africa, sparking curiosity about our planet's diversity. Pupils will also dig into the Earth's secrets, studying rocks, fossils and volcanoes, with a memorable visit to our local, dormant volcano, Beacon Hill, where they'll connect classroom learning to the world around them. Year 3 is packed with hands-on experiences and captivating topics that inspire a love for learning!
