Wraparound Care: Breakfast Club

Wraparound Care:

The government are aiming to ensure that there are enough wrap around childcare options from September 2024 and this includes child care places that parents pay for.  It aims to help parents access more childcare and work the hours they want to.  This is different to out-of-school activities, or school clubs, which may not be held every day or might even be a one-off activity.

Morning Provision at Queensmead Primary Academy

We are delighted to have been awarded 'Best Breakfast Club in the East Midlands' by Kelloggs as part of the National Breakfast Club Awards. This was awarded in recognition of all the hard work our staff put into providing a breakfast club filled with exciting, fun and engaging activities. These include: fitness, yoga, construction, art and craft, gardening, games and puzzles.

We are pleased to be able to offer this service for parents who need support with an earlier start. Our Breakfast Club is run by ourselves, meaning children will be supervised by our own staff so they will always be greeted by a familiar, friendly face.

 Children attending the morning club are to be dropped off at the hall entrance by reception between 8am and 8:15am. 

The cost per session is £2.50 and includes breakfast (cereals, toast and a drink) and activities. From January 26 this will increase to £3.

Places are limited, so early booking is advisable.

To book your child's place please contact the office either via email or telephone. The deadline is Thursday at 12 noon for the following week. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your ParentPay account.
