On Thursday 12th February, Year 6 were able to dress up as part of their World War II day.

They took part in a range of activities, including learning about a typical day of a school child during World War 2, educating themselves on the living conditions and environmental disasters going through the war, making rock cakes with rationed ingredients to understand the restrictions placed on everyday life they wouldn't have thought about today and finishing the day nicely with a VE Day party with their culinary delights and of course a "cup of tea".

The children have fully immersed themselves as though they were children during this time, and have had a really enjoyable day.
