Welcome to Year 4

'This year our classes are named after children's authors.'

'We are Nadia Shireen Class and Joseph Coelho Class.'

In Year 4, our pupils dive into an exhilarating curriculum that sparks curiosity and creativity. They'll explore the wonders of the human body, healthy eating and the digestive system, learning how to fuel and care for themselves. The rich tapestry of local history comes alive with the story of Richard III, followed by an immersive Roman workshop that transports them back to ancient times. In the Spring term, the pupils will embrace the magic of musical theatre, where they'll explore Matilda and unleash their performing talents. Pupils will explore the vibrant culture and geography of India, before embarking on their rivers topic, which includes a thrilling river study of the River Soar at Watermead Park.  Year 4 is a dynamic blend of science, history, geography and creativity that inspires lifelong learning.
